Halesworth Library has began to be the scene for the NHS Excercise Referral Scheme’s exercise classes.
There are fitness sessions available for all types of people of varying abilities in the classes, which start this Thursday. From 9:30am to 10:30am, there are a set of ‘I-Move Freely’ gentle mobility and stretches exercises, great for those living with chronic or persistent pain, or just those who’d like to stay fit and active. From 11am to 12 noon, there’s a Nordic Walk with poles provided, and from 2pm to 3pm there’s going to be another I-Move Freely session. Afterwards, from 3pm to 4pm, there’ll be a Circuit Training Class, which involves rotating round various activities with complete instruction being given by Steven Lacey, a qualified Physical Activity Instructor. The cost is £2.50 per session, with bookings able to be taken from the library.
