Halesworth is a small and beautiful market town in the north eastern corner of Suffolk, England. It is located 15 miles (24 km) south west of Lowestoft. Halesworth is primarily centred on a pedestrianised, shopping street known as The Thoroughfare. Each year the Halesworth Thoroughfare hosts a popular food, drink and craft fair, termed the “Thoroughfair”, to raise money for good causes and to entertain visitors.
